Greetings, Hightown Church Family!

I am so thankful that you and your loved ones have remained safe during these unprecedented times. As we pause and exhale from the massive shifts we’ve had to make as a result of the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, we now take another deep breath as we prepare to reopen our church for in-person gatherings. After much prayer, consideration of  health data, strategic planning and personal feedback, the decision to reopen the doors of our church has been made. By the grace of God, we will safely reopen this Sunday, September 13th for 8 a.m. Worship, followed by Sunday School, and then 11 a.m. Worship.

I thank God for all of the leaders and staff of our great church. Because of them, for the past six months we have been able to continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and remain connected to one another through technology and outdoor worship. As we look forward to coming back to together, please understand that many aspects of our worship experience will change. I am laying out our Covid-19 Reopening Guidelines for our safe return to in-person gatherings. I thank you for your prayers as well as your continued support.

In Christ,

Marvin D. Cherry
Senior Pastor
